AMD Radeon HD 7790 Set to Launch This Week

The Radeon HD 7790 graphics card, codenamed Bonaire, cropped up in the media a few times this past week, and it might stop being leaked soon.

That is because there won't be any need for leaks, as Advanced Micro Devices has decided to officially launch it this week.

At least this is what 3DCenter.org website says will happen.

At present, Thursday (March 21) and Friday (March 22) are the likeliest dates of arrival.

The Bonaire GPU is made on the 28nm manufacturing process technology and will probably have a price similar to the $135 / 135 Euro of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti.

Speaking of which, NVIDIA's new adapter might debut at the same time as AMD's to keep the race going. It will be a lot more confusing than AMD's 7790 because it will have the same name as a weaker board already on sale.
