Corsair Neutron GTX SSD Series Upgraded to 19nm Chips

No big fuss was made about it, but Corsair has upgraded a certain, high-end product collection: the Neutron GTX solid-state drive line.

New drive model numbers are in the following format: “CSSD-NxxxGBGTXB-BK.”

“XXX” specifies the capacity, while the bold “B” stands for the 19nm Toggle NAND Flash memory chips.

Previously, the storage devices employed 24nm Toggle NAND.

The specifications aren't otherwise different, with the exception of the programmed-erase cycle count (P/E cycles) which is now higher, which means that owners have a longer time to use it before it essentially becomes a read-only drive in need of replacement (Corsair will change it for free if it is still in a warranty).

The Neutron GTX come in 120 GB, 240 GB and 480 GB capacities.
