HTC Desire P and Q smartphones revealed in promo pictures

HTC has two new Android smartphones – the Desire P and Desire Q, of which we have first heard a few weeks ago.

Both the Desire P and Q appear now in official images, these allowing us to see that the new handsets are just what we’ve previously assumed: mid to low-end devices.

The Desire P (model number T326h), looks a lot like the Desire SV announced last year, and features: a 4.3 inch WVGA display, Beats Audio technology, 8MP rear camera, front-facing camera, dual-core 1GHz processor, and MicroSD card support. It comes in red and white, and will be available soon via China Mobile, reportedly for about $365.

The Desire Q (model number T328h) is a tad smaller than the P, sporting a 4 inch display. It has Beats Audio, too, and will come in black, white, and red. The handset is going to cost around $235, and should be available in Taiwan first. The Q resembles the HTC Desire U (another new handset that was launched in Taiwan back in January).

There is no word on what version of Android the Desire Q and P are running (hopefully, it’s Jelly Bean). Launch plans for markets other than China and Taiwan aren’t known at the moment.
