The smartphone has already received the necessary Bluetooth SIG approvals, and is en route to the carrier in the DOCOMO NEXT series, with model number HW-03E attached to it, Blog of Mobile notes.

The new device is expected to become available in April this year, with LTE connectivity packed inside, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities.

The handset has already been approved with LTE/HSUPA/HSDPA/UMTS and GSM/GPRS/EDGE, as well as with voice, video, MMS service, GPS, AGPS, Felica and RF signal receiving/transmitting, the listing on Bluetooth SIG’s website reads.

Huawei Ascend D2 was made official at CES in January with a 5-inch full HD screen, quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP camera, and a 3000 mAh battery.
